Crafty Beach 2024: Coastal Home Decor Dollar Tree DIYS

Ready to bring some coastal charm into your home? Today, I’m sharing 20 BEACH Dollar Tree DIYs that I’ve made so far this year in 2024. From coastal terrariums to resin sea creatures, these projects are fun, easy, and budget-friendly. Let’s dive in!

An easy beach basket terrarium DIY using a dollar tree basket, sand, airplane, driftwood from target, and a starfish and seashells from my collection.
A beautiful beach terrarium display using a dollar tree mason jar and wood look wax warmer. I use a faux succulent, sand and seashells.
A sand castle terrarium using a dollar tree plus larger fishbowl, fairy garden sand castle and lobster, sand and onion grass for sea grass.
A large potted coastal terrarium using a dollar tree galvanized pot, sand, a blue succulent, ferns and a conch shell house. I finish it with a starfish. I just love how this one turned out.
A beach blue mini terrarium DIY using a shore living candle holder, a base that I dye a matching blue, sand, a fairy garden palm tree, shells and ferns.
A large flipflop beach terrarium using a dollar tree summer tray, sand, fairy garden sea turtle, flamingo and sand castles. For greenery I use dollar tree succulents.
A sea glass sea turtle resin light DIY using a Temu sea turtle silicone mold, dollar tree resin, blue and green crushed glass, a LED push light and craft wood.
A sand sea turtle resin tray DIY using a Temu sea turtle silicone mold, dollar tree resin, tan sand and blue mica powder. This would make a great soap or sponge dish.
A mini resin dolphin wind chime DIY using an Amazon sea creature mold, dollar tree resin, blue ink pigment, tiny seashells, fishing line and seashells I found at the beach.
A blue ringed octopus resin sun catcher DIY using an Amazon octopus silicone mold and suction cup, dollar tree resin, orange dye and blue glass beads.
A blue mosaic whale resin DIY using an Amazon silicone mold, dollar tree resin, light blue paper pet paper bedding, and a large jenga block.
A resin rainbow fish artwork DIY using an Amazon fish silicone mold, dollar tree resin, mica powder, sequin fabric, coral canvas, frame & rope.
A glass bead resin jellyfish sun catcher DIY using an Amazon jellyfish mold and suction cup, dollar tree resin and blue glass beads.
A coastal resin coaster DIY using a dollar tree coaster silicone mold, resin, dye, blue glitter, starfish and seashells.
A Driftwood Lighthouse Dollar Tree DIY using Dollar Tree wood slices, a wood ruler, driftwood from the beach and seashells.
A Sea Glass and Rope Coastal Wreath Dollar Tree DIY using Dollar tree sea glass, nautical rope, a wood wreath form. For the sign inside the beach wreath, I use a dollar tree mermaid sign.
A Beach centerpiece Dollar Tree DIY using a Dollar tree sign, 5 gallon paint stirrers for the sides, white nautical rope, 3 glass candles, tan sand and seashells from the beach.
A Shell Beach Canvas Dollar Tree DIY using Dollar Tree wood shelves, brown rope, a Shore Living sand dollar and starfish. For the canvas, I use seashells painted an ombre ocean look with spray paint.
A Shell-encrusted Mirror Dollar Tree DIY using a Dollar Tree arched mirror painted ivory (sand dollar) along with painted seashells from the beach. I stand the mirror on a dollar tree chunky sign cut down to size.
A Sea Turtle tray Resin DIY using a Temu turtle silicone mold (link below), Mod Podge resin and pine pet bedding. For wood feet, I use a dollar tree wood puzzle. Resin is food safe once cured 7 days, but is also fun for a decorative beach tray.

  1. Beach Basket Terrarium DIY
    Create a serene beach scene with a Dollar Tree basket, sand, a miniature airplane, driftwood from Target, and starfish and seashells from your collection. This easy terrarium is a perfect centerpiece!
  2. Mason Jar Beach Terrarium
    Transform a Dollar Tree mason jar and wood-look wax warmer into a beautiful beach display. Add sand, tiny seashells, and a faux succulent for a touch of greenery.
  3. Sand Castle Terrarium
    Using a larger fishbowl from Dollar Tree Plus, a fairy garden sandcastle and lobster, sand, and onion grass, you can make a whimsical sandcastle terrarium.

    Repurpose a Dollar Tree summer tray with sand, fairy garden sea turtle, flamingo, sandcastles, and Dollar Tree succulents for a fun beach scene.
